1% of Anything / 1 %의 어떤 것

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

The story :

Kim Jung Hwa is a young and sincere middle school teacher, who has little interest in money. She is also extremely warm-hearted and loves to help other people. When she helps carry an elderly man’s belongings from the train to another location, the elderly man is extremely thankful. This grandfather turns out to be the extremely rich owner of a well known conglomerate. His grandson, Kang Dong Won is a quick-tempered businessman who rivals his grandfather, but in an almost comical way. In an order to “tame” his favorite grandson, the grandfather agrees to give his entire fortune to the person who marries Kim Jung Hwa, therefore forcing Kang to meet the girl whom his grandfather chose. Although at first Kim and Kang don’t get along because of Kang’s extremely cute but bad temper, their arguments bring them closer together. Kang starts to get jealous when Kim’s fellow teacher starts liking her too. Through the clever conditions that Kang’s grandfather makes, Kang starts a relationship he does not look forward too. However, what looked like a relationship that would 99% not work out, turns out to be the “perfect” match, the 1% chance.

My comment :

I forgot what the reason I watched this serial.
But, I wasn’t regret it, anyway.

The storyline is simple, and the pace is rather low, but don’t know why I like it.
And the casts also aren’t extraordinary.

Maybe it was because no antagonist role here.
Everybody is nice, and if they were annoying, there’re a reason why they did it.

While watching it, I felt happy, and enjoying their story goes.

In this serial, I liked the female roles, they seemed nice and lived a simple lives.
The dialougues are witty, but unfortunatelly the subtitles on my DVDs are a mess. I can’t understand what were they saying at beginning, but with my long flying hours watching K-Drama, now I can understand a little.
But…I still missed big parts of the story, so I downloaded the subs file on d-addicts to fill my curiousity.

I’ve watched this serial 3 times (!)-not because it was sooo good- but to get more understanding about the whole story.

And, last time I watched it, I kept remember Monica’s words, saying that she had soft spot on rough but care guy ( referred to Kang Dong Won’s role here )

This serial is indeed heart warming, taught you a good lesson, that if you are being nice to someone, you’ll receive a good result..

The lesson I got? Next time I saw old men were standing in the bus or train, I’ll give my seat to them, because probably he has a rich-handsome-nice-heir grandson at home! *lol*

It’s really a heart warming drama. Me too, I’ve decided to help all elderly persons in case they have such a dream “prince charming” as grandson.
