If you asked me which drama made me fell in love with Korean series, this is the answer. I love it. This is my all time favorite. In this serial I also “met” Jang Dong Gun for the first time, and the rest is history..

Synopsis :
This is the story of two young women, Sun Mi and Young Mi. Sun Mi had a nice childhood and grew up with lots of love from her father. Young Mi’s mother left her when she was young and her father was a drunk who recently died.
Life changes radically for Sun Mi when her father decides to support Young Mi.
Young Mi becomes Sun Mi’s rival in every aspect of her life. First, Young Mi steals Woo Jin from Sun Mi, then tries to take over her job at a very important TV network and finally puts her eyes on Sun Mi’s new boyfriend, Hyong Chul (Jang Dong Gun) one of the network’s top executives, whom Sun Mi met during a trip to London. But Hyong Chul’s love for Sun Mi is stronger than Young Mi’s estimation. Meanwhile Woo Jin suffers of a broken heart as Young Mi makes his life miserable and finally dumps him so she can chase Hyong Chul.
My verdict :
Did I mention I love it? I love it so that I’ve been watching it for hmm, 4 times?
I like every aspect of this drama, the casts, the story, the soundtracks, and Jang Dong Gun..hehehe
He potrays a man every girl dreamed about, rich, handsome, kind, devoted, etc..etc.. the Mr. Perfect. Prince Charming. Unrealistic? Not exist in the real world? You name it. But you should not always using your brain while watching drama, just dream on!
Actually there are many flaws of the stories, but for me, just seeing the love story between Sun Mi and her sunbaenim ( senior ) Hyun Chul is already satisfying.
Chae Rim acted as a nice girl, and fitted the character well. Not too beautiful, but nice and lovely, kind of girl that everyone likes her.
In the other side, Kim Sae Yeon’s acting was superb. I can really want to slap her everytime she appeared on the screen.
Han Jae Sukh’s character made me want to push him and yell, ” Come on, be a man!”. Geez. But, somehow it showed that he acted well, right?
Oh! Kim Jeong Eun! She really looked different from her look now! The magic of plastic surgery… I even can’t remember that she’s the same person with the girl from Lovers in Paris! By the way, I like her here more than any her roles recently. I didn’t like her in Lovers in Paris, Princess Lulu and Lovers. Her “cute” acting is pissing me off. No offense to her fans, but I better see her as a mature and confident news anchor than other “funny” roles she played.
This serial is modern Cinderella type of story, which always I like. Plus, the good looking casts as the bonus. For me, this serial is a classic, because it was one of my first memorable drama which made me hooked to Korean Drama..And, everytime I want to see Jang Dong Gun, I’ll definetely put this DVD..
