Well, technically, I was only walking.

Ugly walking.

I hate walking in the rain. Especially if I have to go to a place, where I should look as nice and clean as the way I look when I walk out from the house. ( Mind you, I do look nice. At least I never forget to shower and to comb my hair. :P )

And Jakarta surely has weird weather. I can’t remember that we’ve already had summer ( or dry season, whatever ). You have to be an Indonesian to understand the seasons of this country ), now we have to face the RAINY season.

Oh yeah. Rainy. For Jakarta, rain is not always a good news. Flood is threatening the city all the time. And don’t make me started to tell you my ( very ) bad experience on facing the flood.

I am not supermodel..( not even close ), and I walk carelessly. Rain and wet streets are not my best catwalk.

I always end up having dirty legs, which is really embarrassing, especially like what happened yesterday. I have to walk from my office to the new prestigious mall in town, and yes, I got dirty legs. The visitors of the mall were staring on my legs ( because of the dirt, mind you, I don’t have beautiful legs - unfortunately ). I was so embarrassed!

Hhhhhh.

oh, now u want to talk about weather?

at least jakarta’s weather is predictable. rain today, rain tomorrow, rain the day after.

here in melbourne is very confusing and frustrating. dark cloud one minute (suggesting rain coming), sunny the next minute, then when you least expect it, rain it comes!

cold today, bloody hot tomorrow, wet and windy the day after. when you go out, you have to wear at least 2 pieces of clothing (so you can remove one when it’s too hot), a jacket, and an umbrella. even when the weather forecast says it will be sunny.

and when it’s hot, it’s damn hot. i prefer jakarta’s weather (minus the air pollution, mind you!). and i don’t get hayfever in indonesia.

don’t complain about the weather. here we’re facing draught. still on water restriction. enjoy it when you still have rain. u need to consider really dancing in the rain :p you’d still have dirty legs, but u’ll have fun in the process :p

*shrug*
