Monica has been pointed out that I had blogged about some nonsense craps lately, but isn’t that ‘blogging’ all about? At least I don’t do camwhoring thingy in this blog, like other ‘famous’ bloggers in the universe!
Today I received a new HSBC credit card. A Mastercard one.
When I just started working in this company, I thought, “Now I can apply a credit card because I’m working in a reputable company, so I am credit worthy!”
My bank hadn’t have credit card service at that moment, so I was applying to other bank.
My first choice was HSBC.
I was waiting..and waiting for the arrival of my first credit card..
( The reason I want to have a card is because I’m living far from my parents, and credit card would be handy )
…..and found that my application was rejected. SIGH.
About a year later, someone from HSBC called me, and offered me to have their credit card. I already have other cards though, I still have that grudge against this bank, but I wondered whether they would accept me this time.
It turned out that they sent me the card, a gold VISA one ( I insisted to get the gold card, since I have enough classic/silver cards already ).
Couple days ago, a telemarketer called me.
She said that she is from HSBC, and informed me that I am one of the rare ‘selected costumers‘ that get the opportunity to have a new credit card, this time from Mastercard. *roll my eyes* Because I am the choosen one, I don’t need to fill any form, they’ll automatically send me the card.
I have enough credit cards, even now I have my beloved PaninPlatinum. I don’t need any new card. She insisted to send me the card, said if I don’t want to use it, I don’t have to activate it.
What an irony! After they rejected me ( oh yeah I still have hard feeling to HSBC ), they finally decided to give me, not only one but TWO cards!
UPDATE :
Whoa. Those people at HSBC should do cross check on other telemarketers’ list. Last night, another sales person called me, and told me that ( YES ) I’m their “selected / choosen / picked customer” so I got the privilege to get a NEW HSBC credit card.
I got upset, so I bursted out ” I just got another new card 2 days ago! You want me to have how many card???? FIVE????? You go check to your friends, whether they had called me already!!! !@(*#$%$ “
PISSED.
